Additional airline services can now be sold at any point in the airport before and after check-in.
Sirena company has prepared for implementation the latest mobile solution to ensure sales and payment of additional airline services directly at the airport.
The sale of the service is carried out using the mobile cash desk on the principle of “three in one”: the device simultaneously performs the functions of issuing the service, receiving payment, fiscal registration and printing a check and EMD (electronic multi-purpose document).
The specifics of the work is the full automation of processes, including the search for a passenger through a scan of the route-receipt and boarding pass.
Thus, an airline employee will be able to accept payment for an additional service at almost any point in the airport from the check-in counter to the boarding gate.
Sirena's Project Development Director Elena Volodina noted: “The mobile solution was developed in response to airline inquiries dictated by the desire to increase the technological effectiveness and profitability of commercial activities.”
Earlier, Sirena realized the technical opportunity to sell additional services directly at the check-in desk, i.e. without a passenger contacting a specialized cashier. Now the range of possibilities has expanded.
According to Elena Volodina, "despite the difficult financial situation of the air transportation market participants, Sirena does not reduce activity and continues to develop solutions to meet the requirements of airlines."
