UVT AERO Airlines has resumed direct flights Kazan - Yaroslavl. Regular flights in this direction were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic from the beginning of April.
Flights are operated twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays on 50-seat CRJ-200 aircraft. Travel time is a little over an hour.
Flights are carried out thanks to subsidies from the consolidated budget from the Federal Air Transport Agency of the Russian Federation, Yaroslavl Region and the Republic of Tatarstan.
According to the commercial director of UVT AERO Stanislav Kozlenko, the route is popular among the population. The most convenient and fastest way to get to the oldest city on the Volga with a thousand-year history is by plane. The creation of direct air links between the Yaroslavl region and the Republic of Tatarstan has undoubtedly expanded tourism and investment opportunities for each side.
