According to the analytical service of the company "Sirena", in the first quarter of 2019 the choice of a seat in the cabin became the most popular service additionally acquired for air transportation - 35% of passengers took advantage of this offer. In the first quarter of last year, this service occupied the 2nd place with an indicator of 25%.
The service of excess baggage in the current year is in demand among 20% of passengers, whereas a year ago it occupied the leading position with an indicator of 29%. Passenger insurance is in third place in terms of popularity of paid services - 16% (21% in 2018) travelers insured their trip along with the purchase of a ticket.
A stable share in the structure of passenger preferences keeps the option of upgrated in-flight dining - 14% (11% in 2018). Indicators remained unchanged: an increase in the class of service - 6% and priority check-in for the flight - 3%.
