Sirena-travel and the Airline "UTair", which is on the third place in the ranking of the largest Russian air carriers with an annual turnover of more than 5 million passengers in a year, have reported about full migration to a new system of PSS (Passenger Service System) Leonardo. The architecture of the multifunctional platform PSS Leonardo offers comprehensive solutions aimed at efficient management of company resources.
For Sirena-travel JSC it was alarge-scale project, the importance ofwhich could be hardly overestimated, getting ready for migration process took several months. At that time the specialists of technical services of the software company has spent a tremendous work on setting up the PSS platform Leonardo according to customer's requirements, optimized processes of integration with other IT solutions, used by the Airline "UTair".
The result was a smooth transition to PSS Leonardo on „seamless" technology, i.e. without stopping or partial decline in the current functioning of the Airline resource and without other problems, associated with the transition to the new platform.
The system core has inventory host with the same name, modern functionality, which allows to solve the most difficult tasks in the dailycommercial activities of the Airline: registration system at the airports - ASTRA DCS,Revenue management system - RMS, E-Commerce solutions and a number of additional services.
This will provide the Airline "UTair"more efficiency of resource sales and a qualitatively new level in the management of business processes, high level of automation and of technical ability in general.
As showed already the operating experience of PSS Leonardo in Airlines, that already useit as a system of business management – practical results allow to expand considerably the available services for passengers, efficiently manage the sales of their services through their own channels, distribution systems or agents network, to implement development plans on the transportation market in the future.
Today “Utair” has become the first Russian Airline, one of the three leaders of the aviation industry, which started to use the system PSS Leonardo. In the nearest plans of the system developer, "Sirena-travel” JSC, the implementation of PSS Leonardo at least for 10 Russian Airlines, within the calendar year the implementations planned in 19 companies, including foreign airlines.
