"Sirena-travel"reports on implementation of technology of TCH EMD issuance from the 1-st September, 2015 on the fee/additional charge for the carrier’ service in accordance with the resolutions of IATO, adopted in 2010.
According to these requirements is developed and used the single standard for tickets issuance for passenger transportation, ancillary services provided by Airlines, registration and payment for excess baggage.
The official TCH release, published on the website of the Transport Clearing House: “Following the decision of CCS Carrier Committee №155 dated 27.10.2013 on migration to 100% e-ticketing within ATSS for passenger air services issuance, GDS Sirena-Travel is now ready to implement CCS-TCH EMD technology to issue carrier’s ancillary service charge/fee (code 22). Such ancillary services include preferred seat, meal program, unaccompanied minor, pre-flight services (i.e. check-in), etc.
The list of ancillary services will be determined by every single carrier.
Functionality of CCS-TCH EMD issuance for carrier’s ancillary service charge/fee (code 22) will be enabled for every ATSS participating carrier in line with its promptitude to apply said technology."
