"UTair-Ukraine " Airline and Sirena-Travel CJSC, a leading provider of complex solutions for air transportation distribution, launched in Sirena-Travel GDS in the airline session issuance of fees and supplementary services for airline passengers in EMD format (Electronic Miscellaneous Document).
We are pleased to remind you, EMD-S (EMD Standalone) – multipurpose electronic document, developed to facilitate sales and collection of ancillary services. An electronic miscellaneous document (EMD) a universal solution to handling ancillary fees, simplifies technology processes for participants of air carries market. EMD-S is used independent of an e-ticket, the documents is issued und used regardless of the flight segment.
Technology is available in airline session: EMD-S are issued for charges/fees the air carrier set in case of flight cancellation, changes in conditions of carriage for a number of main carriers in Russia and the CIS. In the TCH session EMD-S issuance is implemented for all ATSS Participating Airlines (Transportation Clearing House).
To date, since the beginning of 2013 in "Sirena-Travel" GDS issued more than two million EMD. Solutions of “Sirena-Travel " on EMD are used by over 1,000 agency offices. Active implementation of technology contributes to its convenience and easiness of connection.
