At the beginning of the 2022/2023 academic year, two Russian universities, the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation (MSTUCA) and the Russian University of Transport (MIIT), launched a new educational program aimed at improving the training of specialists for the aviation industry.
The program is being launched as part of a cooperation agreement between Sirena, a leading Russian supplier of information technology for the transport industry, and MSTUCA and MIIT. The launch of the new curriculum was preceded by a lot of preparatory work done by the management of Sirena and the scientific and pedagogical staff of universities.
The introduction of the latest information technologies into the business processes of airlines often requires young managers to have cross-industry competencies. New curricula implemented on the basis of MSTUСA and MIIT offer their students a unique opportunity during the training period to gain practical knowledge of working with reservation and check-in systems for passengers and baggage used in the aviation industry.
As part of the curriculum, students will be able to immerse themselves in the life of modern airlines and airports and learn how to use application tools for the distribution of aviation services, which, in turn, will allow future aviation professionals to receive additional tools for developing the competencies and skills necessary for building a career and teamwork.
