In December 2021, the Egyptian airline AlMasria Universal (UJ) renewed its membership in the TCH and activated the Agreement with the GDS Sirena-Travel (1H).
Considering that the Sirena-Travel GDS is the majority system in the CIS market, this cooperation gives AlMasria Universal ample opportunity to get maximum distribution on the Moscow-Sharm-el-Sheikh and Moscow-Hurghada routes.
AlMasria Universal is Egypt's first privately owned airline and is a hybrid model of a full-service carrier and a low-cost carrier.
The airline plans to resume air transportation from Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada to Moscow already in the upcoming spring season of 2022.
