Smartavia launched regular service with Uzbekistan

Smartavia airline performed the first regular flight on a new international route from Pulkovo airport (Saint Petersburg) to the historical and cultural center of Uzbekistan, one of the most ancient cities in Central Asia - the city of Bukhara. Previously, the airline operated only charter flights to Bukhara.

“For us, the implementation of the first regular flight to Uzbekistan is an important event that opens a new stage of the flight program - work on international airlines after a break due to the pandemic. We hope for high demand on routes to Uzbekistan and are ready to provide passengers with a high-quality level of service on board and a set of smart-services during flights, ”said Sergey Savostin, CEO of Smartavia.

Smartavia will operate weekly flights to Bukhara on Tuesdays on modern Boeing 737 airliners. In December 2021, the airline will add another destination to its route network - Namangan, the second most populous city in Uzbekistan. Flights from Pulkovo airport on this route will also be operated once a week on Wednesdays.

When planning a flight on flights to Uzbekistan, the airline recommends that passengers carefully read the current information about the current rules and restrictions on entry to foreign countries and from foreign countries to the Russian Federation.

Such information is posted on the airline's website www.flysmartavia.com, as well as on the official websites of the embassies, consulates or Ministries of Foreign Affairs of both states.
